Mekong Heritage was founded with the mission of creating its own whiskey in the Mekong Delta. Inspired by the Japanese wine line Suntory Whiskey founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, MEKOHE’s team has worked with dedication and creativity, combining learning and applying Japanese whiskey distillation techniques. Ban and Scotland to create a line of strong wine with the characteristic flavor and rich aroma of the legendary Mekong River, harmoniously combining traditional indigenous and modern cultures.
With traditional Vietnamese manual fermentation techniques, combined with a complex distillation process through 6 towers, Mekohe Whiskey has a delicate resonance between the scent of pandan leaves mixed with the characteristic new smell of ST25 rice. , the world’s best award-winning rice, undergoes the aging process in oak barrels that have been treated with a special formula, imported whole from Europe, the mature wine has an amber color and flavor. The passion of dried fruit, the mild spicy taste of cinnamon, the sweetness of honey and the faint scent of rosewood, a precious wood typically grown in the forests along the Mekong River.
