MEKONG HERITAGE was established with a mission to create its own brand of whisky in the Mekong Delta region. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese Suntoy whisky, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, the MEKOHE team worked diligently and creatively, combining the distillation techniques of Japanese and Scottish whisky to craft a robust spirit with the distinctive flavor and rich aroma of the legendary Mekong River, harmonizing traditional local culture with modern elements.

Using traditional handcrafted fermentation techniques of Vietnam, along with a complex distillation process involving 6-story towers, MEKOHE Whisky achieves a delicate harmony between the fragrant aroma of pandan leaves and the unique scent of ST25 rice, an award-winning rice variety known worldwide. After maturing in oak barrels treated with a special formula, imported from Europe, the matured whisky displays an amber color and carries the intense flavors of dried fruits, a subtle hint of cinnamon, the sweetness of honey, and a gentle woody note, derived from the distinctive precious wood that grows along the banks of the Mekong River.
